precious nougat in the middle sings a song of statisfaction to the world

I'm not really a sweets girl. Wait a second, apparently I'm smoking something because I just outright lied.

My name is Susannah and I like candy.  (Hi, Susannah.)

Ok, thats more like it.
What I meant was: I prefer salty somethings over sweet somethings. And I prefer carb-y somethings over anything else. (Oh the times I've contemplated sneaking a baked potato into the movie theater.) So when it comes to candy I'm really not sure where my loyalties lie.

My favorite candybar is a Whatchamacallit. The peanut butter flavored crispy rice, the carmel, the chocolate--I'm smitten, I'm in deep smit. But today I was given a Snickers bar by a classmate. I like my Snickers bars one way...no, outright lying again, I like them any way they'll make contact with my mouth. (Insert dating joke here, OH!) But my favorite Snickers bar is a FROZEN Snickers bar.

I don't know why I like them frozen. I don't require freezing of anything else before slipping it between my pillow lips with my chubby manicured fingers.  LYING AGAIN! Blast, whats wrong with me? I totally freeze Twinkies. Oh, and Peeps. And other types of marshmallows, but sometimes I just let those go stale. Mmmmm.

About two years ago I broke a molar on a frozen Snickers bar. Which required a crown. My second crown.  (Though I prefer to think of them as tiaras.)

Is there a point to all of this?  Yes. I am waiting for my Snickers to thaw a bit more so I can peel off the rest of the wrapper.

280 calories of frozen joy.

LOL... loved this post!

I've never had a frozen Snickers. I'll have to try it. Snickers is one of my favorites. I'll have to try freezing Twinkies, too. Thanks for the tips! lol

How do you feel about 100 Grand bars? They are my favorite chocolate-based candy, followed closely by Kit Kat. But they get a bum rap. They get nearly entirely ignored when I hear most people talk about favorite candy. I mean, come on, it's like a Nestle Crunch wrapped around a caramel center. Mmmmmmm.
