George is OK. I will upload the pictures of the damages as soon as I can offload enough stuff to stop getting YOUR SCRATCH DISK IS FULL messages. (I am accepting donations for a MacBook, just so you know.)

My airbags did not deploy because the impact was to George's hood, rather than bumper. I basically slid under the SUV's front bumper. So the front of George's hood is smushed, and the sides are kind of buckled up, but nothing too bad. What I was saddest about was that the VW emblem fell off at some point during my drive home. :(

There is a gash/hole in the front bumper of George...I really don't know what to do about that.
