Friday night I decided to I wanted to move my bed to the opposite wall, but because of the headboard and footboard I couldn't just push it a few feet, I had to actually spin it around. My bed is massive! It is tall and wide and long and heavy.
I had to take drag off the actual mattress, which is nearly as wide as I am tall. This took me nearly ten minutes in itself. Then I pushed everything out from under the bed. Eek. After a lot of pushing and pulling and lying on the ground and kicking, I finally got the frame into place.
Saturday afternoon I bought two more pillows and soft dark pink 300 thread count pillowcases and added them to the bed. Then I unplugged my TV, DVD player, and stereo and placed them all to the side. Then I rearranged all my DVD towers and put them to the side. Then I wiped down my little multilevel table thingy and dragged it out of the living room and into my bedroom. Then I transferred everything else as well.
This morning I finally organized all the things on my desk (or uh...threw them in a box, whatever) and tried to drag my desk into my room. It wouldn't fit through the doorway. I took it apart and reassembled it inside the room.
My bedroom is still pretty chaotic. I have piles of stuff gathered throughout the other 2/3s of the room. I think I'm going to have to wait for another weekend to come around before I get everything completed. This weekend just went too quickly.
Oooo, Anakin is being dubbed Darth Vader...better get back to the movie. And then on to the Ewan McGregor-filled dreams!
