I don't want to go through the time, hassle, financial mess of beauty school only to be hired at a Super Cuts after graduation. I hate the thought of that. I don't want to start out small, I don't want to work for someone for a measly wage. I have such an entrepreneurial drive.
A relatively small (starting out) salon/day spa named "Susannah's" with 50% employed stylists and 50% rented styists stations, a few nail techs, a few massage therapists, a few estheticians, and a receptionist.
I was planning this out last night while getting my legs waxed, as a way to divert my attention from the pain of getting hot wax poured on my skin and each hair vigorously yanked out by its root.
My esthetician broke one of her application sticks over my calf. I bust up laughing and she embarrassedly explained to the estheticians around her that she had pushed too hard. I said it was because I'd flexed my amazing calf muscle. Hahahaha.
