PALE IS THE NEW TAN

Apparently everyones goal for the day is to make me more self conscious than I already am, which I wasn't aware was even possible.

While walking back to the office with Leslie and Irma from lunch we passed the highly reflective windows. Leslie yells out, "You need to get in the sun, girl!" Uhhhh... She continued, "I thought you had white pantyhose on!" Ok...I'm done with being social for the day. And I'm not wearing skirts to work anymore. I said, "I just burn, it peels, then I'm pale again."

I wish I could say that was the first time.

Who even wears white pantyhose? I haven't since Elizabeths wedding! Ya know, as a size 12 5'8" 11-year-old...but that's a whole other self conscious story...

being tan is highly overrated. I'd much rather be pasty white and not get melanoma. but, that's just me . . .

We must be related somehow...A couple weeks ago I walked into the room in the office and a co-worker said almost exactly the same thing: "You need some sun, girl!" hahaha I said, "I don't tan. It doesn't do anything." Co-worker: "Hmm...that's weird." AGH!

I'm the same way. Just white - cannot tan. If I burn, it peels and I'm white again.

My mom used to always tell me (I'm sure trying to comfort/reassure me...), "When you read in the scriptures about the Savior or an angel appearing, it says 'white'. Never was a heavenly being described as nicely tanned."

And I'm with Travis, I've finally accepted my "whiteness" and I'd rather have it than get skin cancer. (Which one of my sisters has had, so I really do have extra reason to be careful.)

I'm glow-in-the-dark-white. Burning hurst so I don't mind staying that way.

Sometimes I hate it too.

personally, I kind of think girls with pale/fair skin are really attractive. But that's just me.

Well then golly, I'm freaking hot. I'm as white as they come without being a redhead.
