What I need is a job that doesn't involve calling people I have no prior relationship with, not being rushed to make up stupid emails when I don't even know what the heck it is I am saying, and not having to listen to an officemate who thinks she knows absolutely everything about every topic brought up. Listen, you say "supposably", I'm not about to take you seriously.
And I am absolutely sick unto death of the ripping on Julie. Blah blah blah, if she had only done this and that two days ago we wouldn't have to blah blah blah. Guess what, she is processing files for TWO TEAMS. That is a freaking ton of work. Ripping on her for going by what the appraiser said rather than not taking that at face value and instead calling the title company and this person and that person is shocking. Oh my! Yes, she doesn't get the file done in a few short days. Wanna know why? It is not the only one she is working on!!!
Maybe I just feel her pain. I am often doing SEVENTEEN things at once and suddenly I get asked for something that I didn't finish quite to my officemate's standards. Yeah, I emailed the person rather than called. Wanna know why? Because I am doing about fifty other things and I'm not quite as psychotic as you and I didn't hound them until the read the email and responded over the phone as well as online, because you want it in writing. !!!
I: "You can't just take what one paper says as truth! You need to back it up with other documentation; and she didn't even do that!"
S: "Huh. I wouldn't have thought it necessary to call Title; I would have gone off the appraisal, too."
I: "It's LOGIC. You can't just go by one and hope it is right."
So...uh...it's logic, huh? Really. Hmmm. Now I don't consider myself all that much of an illogical person (Come on, I know Mike doesn't know he is my boyfriend, gosh.) but it does seem that the logic lies in doing the file as fast as possible, as that is better for all parties involved. I see nothing wrong in what she did. She had information and she had a task to do with the information she had. She did that. Now I understand that it turned out to be the wrong information, but you can't really expect someone who is processing DOZENS of files at one time (all of which are being "RUSH!"ed by people like you) to track down three people to make sure every little tiny bit of information is correct on each page of each file. That is absolutely ridiculous. In a perfect world it would all be correct in the first place, yes. But to expect her to search it all out (and RUSH it) while doing every other person's file, then turn around and rip on her when she misses one piece of information, I just can't take that. I don't want to hear it anymore.
And if this dorkwa asks me one more time when I'm going to call the people on my list I will quite possibly lash out at her jugular.

I know I really should not be saying this but, go for the jugular don't hold back girl. In fact as you're doing it you should scream, "Don't you make me take off my press on nails!" of course in a black woman accent. In fact my love I would pay to see that!
