I am no idiot, but sometimes I'm not the brightest crayon in the box when in comes to movies. I think it comes from a short attention span. There are a few movies that I like because they are entertaining, but I just don't understand them.

There is a moment, an actual concious moment, when I'm watching a movie I've seen over and over and suddenly it clicks. I get it. That moment usually coincides with the first time I watch the movie in its entirety in one sitting.
I remember very clearly the moment I "got" Mission Impossible. Brittany and I had pushed the two halves of the couch together, facing eachother, so they formed a bed of sorts. We were laying there on the couches when I said, "Oh! It makes sense."

Last night I finally "got" The 5th Element. It is not only Bruce Willis's (willisi, willisis) most attractive role, but also the most recent addition to my DVD collection.
