Do you know what next week is? Yes, Tuesday is February 14, 2006--the day I was to get engaged. And yes, it was all planned out like this. In eighth grade (1997-1998, 13-years-old) I decided that I would be engaged on Valentines Day of 2006. After all, it was very appropriate as Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday and my wedding date was/is June 12, 2006. How close am I to that...lessee here...where's my checklist?

[X] Has rejected--accidental or otherwise--nearly every guy since turning 16

I'm on the same track as you, babe. Just yesterday I made eye contact with this guy I had met the week before, and I literally RAN away from him. How sad am I?! I began to tell myself to walk normally, but by that time he knew that I had already blown him off.

I don't run away per se. But I do sometimes just stand there not talking and looking at the floor or away from the guy.
