how can I remember things that never happened/arms that never held me, lips I've never kissed

I've been listening to the soundtrack from Sabrina (with Harrison Ford, Juila Ormond, and Greg Kinear) a lot today. That is a gorgeous score. My very favorite moment of the entire thing is in "Theme from Sabrina", when the piano is joined by the full orchestra; about midway through the song. It is exciting--I don't know if that is an odd term to use for that emotion, but it's the best I can do. When the violins come suddenly streaming in to what was, moments before, a soft piano solo I get excited.

I haven't played with an orchestra in so long, I miss it. I miss those moments when the crescendo builds, the confidence in my fingering is as high as it can be, and I dig the freshly rosined hairs of my bow across those thick strings--feeling the cello vibrate against my body with every low note.

And besides, everyone knows there are very few things sexier than a cellist.
cellist

(Haha, I just found a little tutorial on how to avoid breaking a string while tuning entitled, "I'm just not meant to have an A string". Oh man, that's hilarious!)
