"This town is awfully square for a cat like me"

Ryan: "When I'm rich everything will be more better."
Susannah: "Well, you won't be a writer."

After waking up at 7:30, 8:00, and 9:00 this morning, I slept in until noon. I finally got up and ready for church. I wore my red&tan striped tunic, a tan tank top, my denim mermaid skirt, and red heels. I pinned my bangs back in an ever-so-slight pouf. I moussed the rest of my hair and diffused it. I used my curling iron to add texture to spots that were determined to stay straight. Because of totally breaking out I wore a ton more foundation/concealer than I would've liked to, light brown blush, and a subtle peach lipgloss. On my eyes I had an all-over color of light brown, gold on the inner corners, dark emerald on the lash line, black liquid liner, and a whole ton o' black mascara.

Holy crapola, a lot of guys are back from their missions already! I mean, I know I am almost 21, so it is a given that they'd be coming back around now, but DANG that was fast. It kind of freaks me out because it is like the signal to get on with the rest of my life. Like, things are separated into two parts: before the mish and after the mish. Before the mish is the fun stuff, high school, and silly summers. After the mish is the boring stuff, college, marriage, careers. I'm not ready for my second part! I need more silliness! I need less pressure! I haven't gone on a date (unless I'm supposed to count the times Honeyman paid for me to get in somewhere and said, "you're my date") in 3 years next month; so I'm obviously not getting married anytime soon. Let's stop all this "hurry up and get married" talk. (Which is all today's Mother's Day at the Singles Ward was about. Ugh!)

I decided today that I want to have a silly beauty night with Danielle and Ellie in a few weeks. (Thats what I get for watching Queer Eye with Danielle.) I want to go on a Wal-Mart run together and gather fun things together like those 89 cent mud mask packets and wacky nail polish colors. I have a humidifier that creates the same of air as the ones used in facials (the white cloud of humid air rather than hot air/steam) and totally want to practice my facial-giving skills on Dani and Ellie. And then we're gonna do highlights in my hair and red highlights in Danielle's hair. Ok, so I just decided that, but she liked it when she did it before. Ellie-I'm thinking blue highlights for you. Mwa ha ha. And we're gonna rent cheezy chickflicks. Or "Bringin Down The House". Or "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar".

I also decided tonight that I want to have a barbecue!!! A spur-of-the-moment, you-bring-the-chips, I'll-supply-the-meat type of random barbecue! How fun does that sound?? ...I wonder when the rain is supposed to be done with. (Am I dangling my modifiers again?)
