I like to collect things. I like to collect weird things. I have a few really random collections, haha. The most random of which is my Got Milk? Ads collection (I have 137 of them, some repeated) and my Sprite bottles collection:
These need explanations--
The first: a 1 Liter bottle from Germany. I actually had one bigger (1.5 Liters) than this but the maid at the hotel threw it away (ugh!), so my dad and Meridith picked this one up for me the next day. There is one there that is 2 Liters and it is green and in the same shape as the 20 ouncers here in the U.S. I want it!
Second: 16 ounces from the U.S. I found it while cleaning out our old warehouses; I don't know how long it was there.
Third: 600 mL from China. It is cool because it is "Sprite: IcyMint", which is actually a nasty flavor--to Altoid-y for me. Aaron (deb's aaron...dang I have too many aarons in my life, haha) brought it back with him from China last fall and was drinking it over here. He let me keep his bottle.
Fourth: 8 ounces from the Smithsonian Museums in DC (available other places, of course...but thats where I got this one.) Brought this back with me from my trip to Washington DC with my little students.
Fifth: 0.5 Liters from Germany. The only time I've seen these "double-cans" (as I dubbed it) in the U.S. they are filled with beer. I got this one while on our vacation in Germany and it got squished in my suitcase on the flight home, which I was perturbed about. Hahaha.
Sixth: 12 ouces from the U.S. I got this one today, which is why this collection is on my mind right now. I guess you can get these at Wal-Mart, but I've never seen them before. My co-worker was holding it today and I said, "Ooo, can I have that???" She looked at me like I was psycho (which I am, I guess, I mean...heck...I collect Sprite bottles!!!) and said, "I have like 4 left, want one of those?" I explained that I just wanted the bottle, hahaha, so she finished off the rest of the soda and handed the bottle to me. Yay!
Seventh: 0.15 Liter from Germany (Limonade mit Zitronen-und Limonenauszügen) I got this one on the plane home from Germany. I had never seen such tiny tiny cans before. It is definitely a favorite in my collection. :D
I also have another can that doesn't fit into my collection, but I saved it anyway because it is HOT.
This is a "7-up: Orange" double-can that I got while on vacation in Germany (obviously that trip is where my soda can obsession began.)
Guess what I'm the most excited for with this trip to England and France I am going on in a month???

Thats amazing..
I never knew there were so many different types of sprite bottles out there! I have been looking for german cans and bottle online, ebay, amazon, but I haven't been very lucky.
Do you know if I can get a hold of these online, or Canada? Its a birthday present for a special someone. ;)
