Suddenly Seymour is standin' beside you/You don't need no makeup, don't have to pretend

When in the world did I transition into being told every dang day how "way cute", "darling", "incredibly likeable", "amazingly pretty" (ok, so that was my personal favorite), "stunning", etc. I am???
My friend, Debbie, was telling me tonight about how her 16-year-old son was talking about how "just really pretty" I am, haha. Hilarious.

What is going on? Hahaha. I have never gotten that in my life and now suddenly in the past month & a half-ish I've gotten it all the time! I mean, I'm not complaining, or anything (heavens No), just shocked and confused. Hahaha!
