My parents have learned to IM. Aaaaaaaaaah! Nah, it has actually turned out to be more fun than I originally thought it would be. If anything, it shows me exactly where I got my quirkiness (as well as many other attributes I hold):
DAD: I pay in fizzeas
DAD: ...or should I say physeas?
SUS: Shouldn't it be spelled, "fonetik"?
...
DAD: Oh cae, physeas awate.
SUS: Is gotsta finish this up, yo. Then I can getst myself ova theya
(Fizzies is filling my 64 oz. mug with carbonated goodness.)

I've also noticed that IMing has, over the past five years, become the primary way I talk to my friends. I don't think I've called anyone in at least 2 months. (oh, except for calling Honeyman to get Debbie's number to ask about a birthday cake.) I just know that they will all be online. Sarah is on during the day, Aaron before midnight, and Debbie around 12:30 a.m., hahaha. I know for a fact that between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. I will have at least 2, usually 3 or 4 friends on. So much so that the other night, when I was with Ellie, Danielle, Honeyman, Money, and AJ, I was thinking, "But I have to get home--"...except that everyone who would be on was in the room with me, hahaha. It's weird how the way we communicate changes so much.
