"Holy Crap, Wayne Newton's hitting on Mom!"

At about 1:30 this morning I got a strange desire: I want to write a screenplay. Maybe a cheezy LDS-themed one - something for Mollywood. It came while watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Nia Vardalos is so rad. Maybe I could write My Big Fat Mormon Wedding, it'd be hilarious.

I was thinking today about how stupid the TV shows I grew up on really were. The second they have the soft-music-playing-teaching-moment I flip the channel. Full House, Step By Step, Growing Pains, & Family Matters all have horrible acting, dumb scripts, and even worse storylines. Most of the actors of those shows have gone on to do just as mediocre (if not worse) work. When was the last time Jodie Sweetin had a great role? I had hope for Jaleel White's sitcom, but it was canceled quickly.



Wow, I didn't know I was so freakin' opinionated about it. :)
