Susannah: "I'm corrupting your children, Liz."
Elizabeth: "Well yeah."
Susannah: "Ask Caroline what George Duran's license plate number is."
in the backround
Elizabeth: "Hey Caroline, what is George Duran's license plate number?"
Caroline: "DBY 8878"
Susannah: "Did she say DBY 8878?"
Elizabeth: "Yeah."
Susannah: "See?"
I like playing with my nieces and nephews because regardless of how much of a dork I am they think I'm cool, haha. Yesterday I played tennis racquet guitar and did the PeeWee Herman Tequila Dance with Elizabeth's kids in the middle of the kitchen. So. Much. Fun!
Little Mr. Luke absolutely cracks me up. He is so incredibly talkative for a one & a half year old. He transitioned from calling me Anannah to Susie and now to Auntie. Yesterday he scraped my arm (accidentally) and then spent the next ten minutes pointing to it and saying, "Auntie, dis ouchie?" I'd say yes then he'd look worried and say, "You gry, Auntie?" I'd tell him that no, I wasn't going to cry. And he'd touch the raised scratched skin and ask again, "Auntie, dis ouchie?" So cute!
Last week we were out to lunch at Qdoba and Caroline "accidentally" kicked Emma Kate so Emmie started to cry. Lukie came over to her, got really really close to her face, and turned his head to once side. He touched a tear as it slid down her cheek and asked, "Emma, you gry? Car-line gick you?" Emmie nodded. Luke quickly swung his head around and glared at Caroline. He pointed at her and very sternly said, "Car-line! No gick!"
Oh my, he is darling.
Cousins Ella, Hyrum, and Luke
I'm glad Deborah lives in Mesquite now, because I get to Hryum more often. He is a spazola, so funny. I wish I got to see Miss Ella Ella often, instead I see her every 3 or 4 months. She has to get used to me again every time, haha.
