Let the nerdiness shine

Thank heavens it's the weekend.

Really.

However, I am getting a second roommate while I'm in Utah next week. She is Meridith's age and has a boyfriend whom she is with ALL THE TIME. I don't know how this can be good. Also, when she first came over to check out the house she asked whose computer was on the counter, I told her it was mine. She asked, "Do you have internet access?" I replied that yes, I indeed do. She said, "Ok, good." Good? Yeah, good for me... You, no touchie. I guess I'm just gonna have to password protect my log-in now.

I am waiting (very impatiently) for my new shirt to arrive in the mail.

It had better come today, I tell you.

I hate it when people try to mooch the internet. I have TWO roommates who just moved in, and they always ask me if they can check their email on my computer - my brand NEW computer! Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to say yes? So, today I went to Savers, and I bought a 12 dollar monitor for my old computer, wiped the hard-drive clean, and I'm giving it to them, just so I don't have to keep letting them use my laptop. Probably the best 12 dollars I've spent in months! Ha ha ha.

Yeah... I have a friend who's roomates often "borrowed" his laptop to "check their e-mail" (many times without asking) and then later he found inappropriate material on there. So, he password protected the laptop and just started saying no - except to his close friends that he feels he can trust.

Yo Susannah,

This is JL your blogward visiting teacher. I know, how completely lame and dorky am I? And no I have nothing better to do on a Saturday night. So I'm stopping by to say hello and roommates totally suck. I finally have my own apartment with no roommates and it rocks!
