Why are Real Estate Agents so dang bratty? Really, gosh!

Every single time I have had to deal with a mass communication to Real Estate Agents I have gotten such incredibly rude responses. I can't even believe it! Hello, it is an actual person behind the email/on the other end of the phone!!! Can you at least pretend to think I deserve some civility? What in the world did I do to you? Sent you an email that was pleasent in nature, not an advertisement, and had to do with giving you more business? Heaven forbid!!! (A friend of Jayar's is selling his house, so I sent a flyer of the details of the house to some [ok 7,000] realtors, just mentioning that it was on the market.) This is after a MONTHS worth of previous communication with these exact same people. Previous relationship, people, not freaking SPAM! Oh, so you have no problems with me and my emails one day and suddenly you freak out.

I got such a nasty phone call this afternoon from a woman yelling at me that she "doesn't need" my emails. Gosh, settle the heck down. She proclaimed that she doesn't want me to send her anything else ever then she proceeded to begin to hang up. Uhhhhh. I said, "Ok, ma'am, could I get your name? Or at least your email address?" Because, ya know, my mind reading skills are lacking this week.

My heavens.

I used to be slightly hurt when I got "remove" responses, but that was in the beginning and I got over it. But every now and then, when I get a "REMOVE!!!" response...ugh...your dang emails are going to a real person, be nice to me, gosh! I am doing nothing wrong to you. Every single thing I have sent has been in your benefit. You should like me.

Some people do like my correspondence, though, thank the heavens. I have gotten some awesome responses from it and it has also generated some leads for Jayar. Mostly I am making him look good.
Jayar came in the office the other day with a handful of marketing stuff from a Realtor (pens, magnents, letter openers, etc) and said she told him to give it to "that girl who emails me." Oh how I love free office supplies!
