We're about as similar as two completely dissimilar things in a pod.

MEMO:

From Susannah
To Everyone

"My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music is NOT a Christmas song. I don't care who is singing it or what slow saxaphone solo is in the backround. It is NOT now, nor ever has been a Christmas song.

I brought this up with Connie (because it was playing on the "all Christmas songs" radio station. again.) and she suggested that it was because it was about Christmas things. We all know Connie is on some sort of illicit drug because of other asinine comments (get Jayar a "nice scarf" for Christmas?! What?!) but I'm pretty sure this is right up there. "Doorbells and Schnitzel with noodles are Christmas things?" She chuckled. Ok guys, although I am naturally pretty dang funny (ha!) I am not always trying to make you laugh. Sometimes I am outright mocking you. But I guess what you don't realize can't hurt you.

Oh, that reminds me: Connie asked to borrow my new gold poncho/wrap thingy. My three-week-old $60 thingy. Who does that?! And yeah, I said yes. Why? Because I am freaking incapable of telling people no. I've really got to work on that. Thankfully she didn't come pick it up the day she was going to.

Man, some people are just annoying. Well, that was slightly depressing. Uh...on a happier note, this is one of my favorite places:
Tintern Abbey
That is my Dad, Mom, Meridith, and me. This is Tintern Abbey in Wales. It was destroyed in the early 1500's, I believe. It is GORGEOUS. It was kind of Lord of the Rings-ish feeling there.

As I scrolled down the picture from top to bottom, I was totally thinking Lord of the Rings. Very Cool!
