Wow, I am in love with myself and you should be, too. I just made the...well...most awesome dish.
I had some of an Awesome Blossom (from Chilis) in a take-home box in my fridge ('cause, ya know, I can't throw food away...dang me.) So I grabbed a sautée pan and threw a little bit o' butter in the bottom (say that five times fast.) After that was all hot and bubbly I cut up my Awesome Blossom onion bits and chucked them in the hot pan.
I let that brown and sizzle for a while, then I added a cup or two (ok, it's me; let's get realistic--like three cups) of frozen tater tots. I browned those tots for a little bit then I drizzled in some warm water and threw the lid on top to let it steam.
After a few minutes it was a glorious golden mass of seasoned potato bits with blackened slivers of fried onion.
I am about the coolest person ever at this moment.
