"Oh I love it when they get nerdy!" -Susannah, during CSI

I haven't had much time to post the last few days. Oops.

Well, today made it two full weeks that I've been living here in Las Vegas. Living alone is only scary after people ask if it's scary. I've learned the drive home from Eliabeth's is much longer after watching CSI than What Not To Wear. Hahaha.
Living alone definitely has its advantages. My shirt is gone less than three minutes after I walk in the door. (TMI?) Finally noone telling me it's very inappropriate and would I please go cover up. My heavens, I'm just wandering around the house; let me be. Hahaha.
I'm learning new things about myself every day; which is pretty fun.
I've pretty much figured out my way around. I can get to work very easily. It takes me about twenty minutes, unless there is a lot of traffic. I can get from my house (the furthest north I can go) to the mall (the furthest south) without too much hassle. Woohoo. I've only seen the Strip twice. Once while on it, haha, picking up Deborah from the airport; and then while getting lost on the freeway, after taking a wrong turn while trying to get to the post office.
I have gone to In & Out twice. (That was the most common suggestion I got when people heard I was moving down here.) Once with Elizabeth, Deborah, Emma Kate, Luke, and Hyrum. The second time was with meine Mutti. I don't go out much with just my mom, so it was fun.

The ladies at work crack me up. Anita is constantly trying to convince me to date. A friend-ish business contact of hers named Chris came in the office yesterday. He hugged Anita and talked to her for a few minutes then Anita introduced me to him. He went in the back to talk to Shelly so Anita came up to me and said, "Susannah, he's single. Do you think he's cute?" I replied, "Umm, he dresses well. [black slacks, pink striped button down, perfectly coiffed hair] Is he gay?" She said, "No, no, no. He's not gay." "Definitely Metro, at least." I don't think she understood what I meant.
Anita went into the back and Shelly came out a few minutes later. "Hey Susannah, he's single. And he is a total sweetie." I laughed and told her that her mother had already informed me of this.
As I was leaving I had to give a file to Shelly. And, of course, Chris was standing in the doorway to that office. As I gave Shelly the file she said, "Chris, have you met Susannah?" He said yes, that we had just met. Then Shelly said, "Susannah's single." Oh my heck. Chris said, "Hot, as well." Get me out of here.
