I've always liked some odd foods.
I may have been known to eat strictly mustard sandwiches as a much shorter and skinnier person, but I'm not sure I'm ready to admit that openly yet.
I may also have been known to create some odd concoctions when it came to carmel popcorn. I would put brown sugar and butter in a bowl, put them in the microwave, then add an extract of my choosing. I may have used maple, almond, and mint on seperate occasions. Mint brown sugared popcorn? I hear you gasping. Yes. But there was a reason (or there may have been...crap) If I made it nasty no one else would touch it, but I'd still like it.
This is some ingenious thinking, if I do say so myself. Because, you see, I am the 6th child of 7. I have 5 older siblings and 2 parents and they would pick at any treats I made!
But those days are behind me now. I make an awesome carmel popcorn now (i [heart] sweetened condensed milk!) that is craved and requested.
Nowadays my oddest food choice is probably my love of sweet pickles. Oh heavens, I love them. Toasted white bread, Miracle Whip, and sweet pickles. *Drool*
Edit-08/11/05:
I can't believe no one corrected me on this! "I am the 6th child of 7. I have 5 siblings..." I knew my math skills sucked, but I didn't know they were this bad. I meant to say older siblings.
