Oh my heavens. My baby sister is going to be married before me! What is with her and trumping everything I do?
Mer gave me permission to write about this, but then she changed her mind, but then she asked if I'd done it. So I decided she doesn't want to admit that she wants me to write about it, haha.
Mer has liked this guy named Sean since her junior year of high school (she graduated this past May.) The desktop picture on her laptop is not only his picture, but an entire folder of pictures of him, rotating every five minutes. Ok, well, I can't really mock this in good conscience seeing as I often have this habit as well. If the guy who is my desktop at the moment knew he was he'd probably think I'm more psycho than he probably already does.
Anyway...back to my point.
Day before yesterday Meridith was on an IM with Sean. After talking about how he won't see her much before she leaves for BYU:Idaho (The B-Y of I), and how she'll have to send him a wedding invitation, he started asking a lot of random questions like if she'd ever had a boyfriend, if she'd ever been kissed, etc. Then he said, "Did you ever like me in high school?" She answered, "Haha yes" and he didn't respond for quite a while (like 5 minutes), which totally sent Mer freaking out. "What should I do?!? Should I sign off?! Should I say no?!" I was yelling back, "Don't sign off! Be honest!" (HYPOCRITE, HYPOCRITE) But she didn't care what I said anyway. She went running off to find Aaron and Deborah for advice...which was a good idea, seeing as I was just rambling off my mouth, not knowing what the heck I was talking about.
I left with The Honeyman til late that night and didn't get the rest of the story til I got home.
Ok, so Sean says he was "head over hills" (sounds painful) for Mer all through high school. And blah, blah, blah. And that yeah, he likes her a lot now. Blah, blah, blah. So yeah, we spit upon her.
Ah, I'm just continuing my quest to be the only girl in my family to not be married at 21.
** Jeremy, thanks for the CD! I absolutely love it! Hilarious.
