I'm assisting with the makeup for "Crazy For You", the play The Honeyman is in. Which means every night (except Wednesdays) I hop on over to the SCERA and stand around awkwardly until somebody needs me. I usually just do The Honeymans makeup, Megans lips and occasionally eyes, and stippling on the other guys...if I'm lucky. But other times I get to do more. Oh yeah, I take care of the wigs, too. I comb them and make sure they get into pigtails before the second half. Ooo, and I get to pull the lead's hair into an updo in the .02 second costume change in the last scene. Woot!
I mostly sit around. Which is a blast.
I get to listen to Lillian's stories about how her family members are not alcoholics (said very sarcastically) and how her grandma pours rum on her icecream. Hahaha. I get to be around Kate, which is the best. Tonight I watched "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar" on Honeyman's laptop. Mostly by myself but sometimes Tyler, Kate, and Jeremy joined me.
Ok, Tyler lives down the street from me! Like...seven, maybe eight houses away. I never knew that. He never told me that. He's been here and yet he has never told me that. Isn't that something people usually tell one another? "Oh yeah, by the way, I live down the street." Then again, maybe it is just me and my odd desire for a stalker.
He even lives in the house my friend Sarah used to live in! Which means I've been in Tyler's bedroom. ;) Rawr. Hahaha.
Allinall, it's fun and a good experinence and I get to watch The Honeyman fake his tap dancing. Hehehe.
(Honeyman, here's a "5 dollar word of the day" for you: conducive. ...That's hot. Ok, I'm a nerd and there is no denying it.)
