"Eww, my lips taste gross--what was on your lips??"

Both Ellie and Danielle are asleep in my bed. Hahaha, that sounds like something The Honeyman would wish he could say ;) We were out until late and I decided to just have them stay over rather than drive the extra 20+ minutes to their houses.

Today was a fun day. I woke up at around 11, hahaha, and found out Hyrum (or "Little H", as I call him) was asleep in the crib downstairs. I got to check on him, he is sooooo cute. Deborah and Aaron came over for a little bit.

I actually did my hair today, haha. I've been totally slacking in that department this past week. Too many ponytails for me. After I put a ton of conditioner in it while in the shower I toweldried my hair. Then I let it airdry 90%. When it was just damp I blowdried it with a paddlebrush. (To get rid of my "nast perm", as Honeyman calls it. My hair is 1/3 permed left over from 2 years ago.) After it was straight and dry I ran a ...blowdryer brush thingy (round brush w/ air shooting out?) through the ends to curl them out. My bangs actually sat right where they were told to. Good job, bangs!
I had emerald eyeshadow on the lid, light brown eyeshadow above the crease, dark brown pencil eyeliner, a light pinkish blush, and my cool maroonish lipglossy stuff from Origins that smells like mint & chocolate. Hahaha! After typing this I have realized that with these random colors I should've looked like a dragqueen, but it actually all worked out well together.

Ok... so maybe I am "high maintenance", like The Honeyman called me last summer. Hahaha!

I went to the mall around 3:00 to do some shopping before work. I bought two new pairs of earrings. Some pink chandeliers, like a froufier version of the ones I was wearing at the time, and some silver "Jesus fish" ones. (Ya know...the lil fish symbol on some cars? They look like that fish thingy.) I've been losing earrings quite quickly nowadays.

I still had over an hour until I had to clock in. Ugh. I had nothing left to shop for. I was wandering around the mall, bored out of my head. Eating out is boring by yourself, as is trying on clothing--so my usuals were out, hahaha. Finally I went in to ask The Honeyman (who was working) if he wanted anything, so there would be a reason to my wandering. He sent me to buy him a Pepsi. (I ended up getting Coke...but he forgave me, haha.)

I wandered, Diet Coke in hand, into the Chunky Store (my pet name for Lane Bryant) to see if they had anything cute on clearance. (Clearance! What have you done to me, Elizabeth? ;) ) I tried on two really cute shirts. But the cuter of the two was twice the price of the other. I decided that since I didn't have Sarah or The Honeyman (who usually help me decide on clothing) I just wouldn't get either.
I went into Suncoast and found a Marilyn Monroe poster that I soooooo want! It's from the shoulders up and is DARLING. The least expensive Marilyn poster was the one of her in a swimsuit against a post/column/pole thingy. Not my favorite one of her, so I didn't get it.

I was thoroughly bored so I clocked in at work ten minutes early. I had fun working with The Honeyman and Kali. I was so cheezy today, haha. I was practically throwing sachets of potpourri in customers faces, hahaha! "Smell this one, it is even more my favorite than the last one." We are having a Buy-one-get-one-50%-off sale this weekend. To a lot of customers I said, "And everything in the store is buy one get one half off...just for you! I saw you coming and I was like, 'guys, put up the signs...they're here!'" I picked who to say it to very carefully. Some would definitely think I was a psycho. Instead, everyone laughed, they loved it!
I like working in home decor because it is usually middle age ladies who shop there. I'll get the occasional single guy, but they are so far away from a desire to decorate that they will basically buy anything I suggest. Hahaha. This guy came in the other day and said, "I need something for my kitchen table. Show me what you'd put on it." I brought him to a little S-shaped metal votive candle holder thingy and said that it was my favorite. He went, "Yeah, ok, fine, I'll take one." That was my easiest sell, hahaha.

I got to hand out coupons to neighboring stores in the mall for our sales next week. It was fun :) I went to See's Candies and saw my neighbor working. I said, "Here you go, Sister Johnson! Coupons!!!" She said, "Oh, thank you, Susannah...hold on, lemme get you some samples!" And handed me a dark chocolate-covered carmel and some white chocolate-covered peanut brittle. Woohoo! Hahaha.

Some lady told me I am a great salesperson because I was super over-enthusiastic about the dang sachets of potpourri, hahaha. ...She didn't end up buying any though...what does that say about my salesperson skills?

I had a great day and was super, super, super, super, super giggly. I think my mother thinks I'm on drugs, hahahaha.

"I just wanna see somethin!
"I'll drink to that!"
