But I was figuring this out this morning:
I was using this chart thingy and it says because of my height, sex, and weight my "Basal Metabolic Rate" is about 4,300. That being the amount of calories my body uses each day just to keep me alive (breathing, heart pumping, etc.)
Holy crapola! 4,300?? And I am, at the moment, giving myself less than 1,500 everyday. That is 2,800 calories that I am burning, but not taking in (and even more so on the days I don't get up to 1,500! Monday I only hit 730!) And that is not including any excersize, and I try to work out every day--thus expending another 300+ calories that I am not taking in.
So, by that logic, I am burning 3,100 calories every day. One pound of fat is pretty equivalent to 3,500 calories. So! Therefore, I should be losing almost 6 1/2 pounds a week! That certainly sounds incredibly unheathly, but so rad at the same time, Hahahaha.
By that math, in late July or August I'd be a size I haven't been since I was 11, in 6th grade.
I have lost nearly 30 pounds since last summer. I have never noticed it as much as I did last night while looking at pictures from last August. Especially in my face and arms--my bisceps are getting tight! I should be more excited than I am. Meridith always says, "Don't you just totally feel cute?" I always reply, "Nope, 'cause I'm still chunky." I'm still me. ...just a little bit less, hahaha.

I really had not realized I'd gotten so chunky! When did that happen?
