"You look like a defrosting chicken!" -Me referring to Elizabeth's dancing

Easter Sunday was fun. I woke up at 7:30. The girls had already done their little Easter Egg hunt, finding twelve candy-filled eggs each. We gathered in the kitchen for our breakfast of dyed hard-boiled eggs. Mine was yellow with swirls, hearts, and stars in white crayon. The little girls wanted to eat only their egg whites, donating some yolk to my egg salad sandwich. Elizabeth put her egg and the remaining yolks in the microwave. After a few seconds there was an explosion. She blew up her egg! Well, technically it was only one of the yolks, but it was HILARIOUS! I tried not to laugh, but it was my only reaction. I tried to stop laughing, but couldn't. Hehehe. It was great.

We went to church, came home, and made 7-layer dip (refried beans, sour cream, taco seasoning, tomatoes, salsa, guacamole, and cheese) for dinner. I had been strangely craving it for weeks. ("Gimme a pickle!")

They all watched The Princess Bride and I laid on my bed to read a book. I got maybe a paragraph in when I realized the words were all blurry. I quickly fell asleep and didn't wake up 'til about 3 hours later, hahaha.

We watched TV together for a little while. Including Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (Ty Pennington, oh how I love you.) and America's Funniest Home Videos. Little Miss Caroline fell asleep in my lap (how cute is that?)

I love the way the girls talk. It cracks me up completely--
Caroline: "It smells like butter-cotch. It may not smell like butter-cotch to you, but it is disgusting!"
Emma kept referring to carmel popcorn as "carnal popcorn", which threw me into a fit of giggles repeatedly. She also called copy-catting "coffee-catting", hahaha.

On the way home today Caroline was talking to herself in the backseat and said, "Are you sure this isn't a dream? Maybe it is Sunday and tomorrow is Monday, and I am sure enjoying this dream."
