None of this is 'miliar to me!

This morning I cut Meridith's hair. I cut is SHORT. When I asked her how short she wanted it she replied, "To right under my ear." Apparently, she actually wanted the layers to start right under her ear, because when I got it all one length she was appalled how short it was. It looks great on her, though. It is really short in the back, and is layered to make is rounded. It angles down in front, giving her GREAT swept-over bangs. It is the cute version of the haircut she had while growing up. (The one where everyone mistook her for a boy, hahaha! Like the customs lady in the Munich, Germany airport! HAHAHA!!!)

It is just like the haircut I had during my sophomore year of high school. Hers is shorter in the back, actually, and her bangs are longer than the back. (opposite of mine) But the same style in general:

Awww, the days of my natural hair color! It's been quite a while since I've had that. Right now I have my white trash grown-out roots. Hahaha:

(That is a pimped out ponytail I did last week.) One quarter of my hair is my natural brown, the other 75% is the strange gold-ish auburn-ish that is seen on that ponytail.

Tonight I went to the movies with my dad, Abigail, and Parker. We saw Because of Winn-Dixie, which I actually liked a lot. I enjoy Jeff Daniels, I think he is underrated.

4-year-old Parker makes me laugh all the time. On the way to the theater he announced, "I think we are lost...because none of this is 'miliar to me." And after Abby explained where were were he said, "Oh, ok, now this is 'miliar!"
I had a lot of fun. Abby sat on my lap during the last half of the movie. She is so cute. She laid her head on my collarbone and would occasionally lay her head against mine. I can't believe she is 6 already, that went by so fast!
