"My life is rapidly becoming a punchline to some seriously disturbed joke..." - Dawson

"Why can't Dawson see how Joey looks at him??? Hello, this is so obvious! What does he see in Jen? She is annoying this early in the series! I can't handle this! Aaaaaaaaaaah!"

So, thanks to Aliesha, I am now addicted to Dawson's Creek. I watched the entire first season in less than two nights. And now I have a complete crush on James William Van Der Beek Jr. (Dawson)...which really begs the question- what is it with me and guys my EXACT HEIGHT? Oh my heavens, the insanity needs to end. It all started with Lance and went out of control from there.

Back to my point- From three minutes into the pilot, when Joey was talking to Dawson about how things are changing in their relationship and how she probably shouldn't sleep over anymore, etc, I was hooked. I loved every episode and was tortured by the Dawson/Jen hookup.

DAWSON: You kissed her?
PACEY: Well, yeah. Not only that, she kissed me back. Right there in the front seat of the Witter family truck. We played tonsil hockey for about an hour. Then she invites me in, but it was a little late, so I didn't. But she's cooking for me tomorrow night. She said she always wanted to cook for the right man. I guess she found him. We were thinking about heading up to this cozy little B&B off the coast, spend a little quality time this weekend.
DAWSON: You're so full of it.
PACEY: Yes, I am. And so are you. You know, it's time you start asking yourself some serious questions, Dawson. 'Cause you exhaust way too much time and energy on a girl you call your friend. So, you know what? Let's just set the record straight here. Who's it gonna be? Is it Jen, or is it Joey? Do you like the blonde, or do you like the brunette? These questions are not gonna go away, Dawson. It's time that you provide some answers.

All day today I was like, "What is going to happen? Is she going to France? Will Jen get over Dawson's snub quickly?" Hahaha. I totally need to watch the 2nd season soon, this is crazy. It is especially odd because the only episode that I watched in completion was the SERIES FINALE. I know the end! I know who dies, I know who Joey ends up with, I know it all!

So this is why I don't get addicted to shows that have an actual storyline. Hmmmm.
