I have been sick for almost two weeks now. I'm not *exactly* sure what I have. At first I just had a slight earache. Then I started waking up with absolutely no voice. (Whispering can get REALLY annoying.) Now I have had a full-blown cough, sore throat, stuffy nose, earache, blah blah blah, etc., etc. for over a week.
I had to buy four cinder blocks today. I am going to put them under my bedposts to give me some storage space in my room. (Kim asked if she could rearrange the closet so we could fit my cello in there. Ummm... what if I don't WANT my cello in the CLOSET? stupid stupid stupid) So, I went to Home Depot and bought the cinder blocks. I didn't think about the consequences of getting them. Like gray dust all over my black skirt and scratched up hands. Ugh.
The Honeyman is hanging out with me again. He says the novelty of having The Money back from Iraq and the novelty of having a girlfriend (The Infant) is wearing off. "It's time to have Susie back." he says. Hmmm. I guess the novelty of having a... ummm... whatever I am... hasn't yet worn off.
I'm in the mood to go see Harry Potter 3 again. I saw it opening day (Friday) with The Roomies and then again on Tuesday with Meridith. It was a lot more fun with Meridith because A) It was her first time seeing the first half of it, so I could anticipate her reaction to parts I knew were coming B) She is cooler than The Roomies anyway... stupid roomies. and C) Who else do I get to fawn over Draco, Harry, & Ron with?!
I have decided to spend more time in my room rather than the livingroom in my apartment. I get the vibe that The Roomies get annoyed by my TV watching & messes. Last night I watched TV, ate dinner, and read a book all while on my bed. It was nice to be away from The Roomies for a bit. That didn't save me from dumb comments from them, though. When J walked in and saw that I had cleaned off my bed and rearranged all my stuff she said, "Wow, your bed is a bed." Wow, The dork is a dork. ...I need my own place.
